Lawyer defends sleep therapist in Giorgos Mazonakis investigation

The lawyer for sleep therapist Nasos Komianos, Giannis Glykas, has addressed the ongoing investigation into the death of singer Giorgos Mazonakis. Glykas stated that Komianos voluntarily provided testimony last week following the pretrial detention of Ioanna Gaka and Ilias Theodoropoulos, noting that he was not summoned by authorities.

Glykas defended his client against public scrutiny, asserting that Komianos has not been formally charged and that much of the information circulating in the media is not part of the official case file. He described the psychological toll on Komianos, mentioning that the therapist has lost sleep due to the intense media attention and public perception.

Regarding a photograph sent by Ioanna Gaka showing Mazonakis at a clinic in Kolonaki, the defense argued the image was intended solely to confirm the singer's presence at the location. The lawyer maintained that the photo was sent to facilitate a scheduled appointment between Mazonakis and Komianos in Kifisia following the singer's shooting.
