Luiz Alberto Segalla Bevilacqua, a 56-year-old prosecutor in Limeira, São Paulo, was found dead in his home on Monday, August 31. Bevilacqua was a prominent member of the Public Ministry, serving as a prosecutor in Limeira and participating in the Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime (Gaeco). His career included investigations into political issues, administrative misconduct, and environmental crimes. He was also an academic, holding a master's degree in Constitutional Law and teaching at various higher education institutions.
