Lawyer in Caso Bruma investigation targeted in San Pedro de la Paz robbery

A targeted robbery occurred at the residence of Hugo Martínez, a lawyer involved in the 'Caso Bruma' investigation, in the commune of San Pedro de la Paz, Biobío Region. According to preliminary reports, four to five individuals entered the home and intimidated Martínez's partner, who was alone at the time.

The perpetrators proceeded to a second-floor office, searched the premises, and stole only a laptop. Martínez stated that the computer contained critical information regarding the Caso Bruma investigation, including recent reports from an international forensic expert commissioned to recover information related to the 'PAM Cobra' orange box.

Due to the nature of the theft, the legal team suspects the incident is directly linked to the ongoing investigation. Lead attorney Rafael Poblete confirmed that they have formally requested the Public Prosecutor's Office to incorporate this robbery into the main Caso Bruma case file.
