Lawyer Sithra Biabangkerd files complaint against Thai Election Commission

Lawyer Sithra Biabangkerd, also known as ‘Lawyer Tum,’ has filed a formal complaint with the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) against the majority faction of the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT). The complaint alleges malfeasance or neglect of duty regarding the decision not to prosecute allegations of collusion in the Senate election.

The legal action follows public criticism concerning the ECT's discretion in handling the Senate election collusion case. Biabangkerd intends to submit key documentary evidence to investigators to determine whether the majority faction's decision was lawful and if their actions constitute criminal offenses under relevant statutes.
