LayerZero token ZRO rallies toward $2 amid stablecoin expansions
LayerZero's native token, ZRO, has experienced a significant price rally, approaching the $2 resistance level. The token saw a surge of approximately 16.46% over a 24-hour period, supported by increased spot trading volume and taker-buy dominance.
This market movement coincides with LayerZero expanding its role in the regulated stablecoin sector through new institutional integrations. Anchorage Digital has reportedly selected LayerZero as an interoperability collaborator for Tether’s USAT stablecoin, utilizing the Omnichain Fungible Token standard to allow the asset to function natively across multiple blockchains.
Additionally, LayerZero has extended its infrastructure into the South Korean market through a partnership with BDACS. The digital asset management firm is utilizing LayerZero technology for KRW1, a stablecoin backed by the Korean won. These developments have contributed to a market capitalization of nearly $677.98 million for ZRO.
