Layla discusses WWE retirement and bizarre fan encounter

Former WWE wrestler Layla has reflected on her retirement from the company and shared anecdotes from her time in the industry. Speaking on TMZ’s ‘Inside The Ring’, Layla discussed her decision to leave WWE in 2015 at the age of 38.

She noted that her departure coincided with the rise of a new generation of talent, including Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. Layla stated she did not want to hold back these younger performers, noting, “It wasn’t my time. It wasn’t my moment. I had my time, and I had my moment, and I’m grateful for it.”

Additionally, Layla recounted a bizarre encounter at a fan convention where a man attempted to offer small amounts of money, such as $1 or $2, to have superstars sign Pepto-Bismol bottles. She recalled witnessing Candice Michelle refuse a request to sign the medication during the incident.
