Layne Riggs re-signs with Front Row Motorsports ahead of NASCAR Truck Series Chase
Layne Riggs has re-signed with Front Row Motorsports for the upcoming season following a career-best year in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Riggs enters the seven-race championship Chase as the No. 1 seed, holding a 25-point lead over TRICON Garage’s Kaden Honeycutt.
Riggs, who has secured six wins this season, will begin his championship run at Bristol Motor Speedway. He noted that while he has been successful in points racing all year, he remains focused on maintaining his current momentum rather than changing his approach.
The playoff field is currently led by what has been termed ‘The Big Three’: Riggs, Honeycutt, and Chandler Smith. While Riggs holds the lead, Honeycutt and Smith remain close in the standings, with Smith trailing by 35 points. Other contenders, including Ben Rhodes and Ty Majeski, remain within striking distance as the postseason progresses through upcoming races at Talladega and Martinsville.
