Lazada reports brand growth during 9.9 Mega Brands Sale

Lazada, a leading Southeast Asian eCommerce platform, reported significant growth during its 9.9 Mega Brands Sale. The number of brands joining the platform’s ‘Million-Dollar Club’—those generating at least US$1 million in Gross Merchandise Value (GMV)—increased by nearly 10% compared to the 6.6 sale period.

The campaign saw a shift toward higher-value purchases, with orders exceeding US$100 accounting for nearly 60% of total GMV. This trend was most pronounced in Singapore, where approximately 75% of GMV came from US$100+ orders, followed by Thailand and Malaysia at 60%. Overall, the platform's average order value saw an uplift of nearly 50% compared to the same period last year.

LazMall, Lazada’s trusted shopping channel, served as a major driver for the event. LazMall GMV grew more than seven times compared to non-campaign periods, accounting for 49% of all orders across the region. In Singapore, LazMall represented 78% of total orders.
