Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu warns of escalating tensions in Kosovo

Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu, head of the LDK parliamentary group, has raised concerns regarding escalating tensions during protests outside the Kosovo Assembly. She criticized the LVV and PDK for delays in reaching a compromise for the presidential election, suggesting that the last-minute agreement reflected an unnecessary emergency situation rather than democratic quality.

Separately, Lushaku-Sadriu addressed the legal case involving former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), who were sentenced by the Specialist Chambers in The Hague to a total of 81 years in prison. She stated that the LDK supports institutional assistance for the appeals process to ensure human rights and that a national strategy should be developed to present all facts during this stage.
