Lazio and Genoa receive no offers for players Doumbia and Vaz

Agent Cheikh Fallè says Lazio never submitted an offer for midfielder Issa Doumbia, despite interest from Milan, Napoli, Juventus, Cremonese, Fiorentina and Roma. The agent added that Sporting CP also showed interest but did not receive a concrete proposal.

Fallè also confirmed the permanent transfer of left‑back Marcelo Vaz from Varesina Calcio to Genoa, effective 1 July 2026. He noted that Inter pursued Vaz for several months but ultimately did not close a deal, and likened the young defender’s style to former Colombian international Pablo Armero.
