Lazio coach Gattuso seeks new attacking talent ahead of 2026/27 season

Lazio manager Gennaro Gattuso is actively scouting reinforcements for the team’s offensive line. The club aims to recruit versatile players who can operate as both forwards and wingers within a 4-2-3-1 formation. Options under review include Danish youngster Asp, a Bayern Munich prospect on loan from Grasshopper, as well as internal candidates such as Dele‑Bashiru, Przyborek and Zaccagni. Potential departures mentioned are Matteo Cancellieri, while Gustav Isaksson may stay.

The squad’s pre‑season will begin on 13 July with a training camp in Formello, where Gattuso will welcome new signing Alfonso Pedraza, who previously faced him when Gattuso was on Valencia’s bench in December 2023.
