Lazio Denies Sale Rumors, Confirms No Ongoing Negotiations

S.S. Lazio issued an official statement refuting recent media and social‑media claims that the club is being sold. The club said there are no negotiations, agreements, or mandates to transfer ownership, either in whole or in part.

Lazio added that reports of new Italian or foreign investors, investment funds, or changes to the club’s ownership structure and the Stadio Flaminio project are unfounded. The statement urged fans, shareholders, investors and journalists to rely solely on the club’s official communications and noted that a report has been filed with the relevant authorities to investigate the spread of false information that could affect market behaviour.
