Lazio eyes €20 million from transfers as sales and targets heat up

Serie A club Lazio is working to raise roughly €20 million in the summer market to meet its zero‑balance budget. Sales of goalkeeper Ivan Provedel to Inter and defender Alessio Romagnoli to Al Sadd are expected to bring about €7 million, but additional funds are needed.

The club has focused on several outgoing and incoming moves. Forward Mario Gila, a preferred target of Napoli, appears close to a deal after expressing interest in a move to the south. Meanwhile, young winger Matteo Cancellieri has attracted attention from Olympiakos, Parma and Fiorentina, with the Lazio valuation ranging between €5‑7 million.

Rumours also link Milan striker Santiago Giménez with Lazio, though the MLS side Orlando City is reported to be keen on signing him. These negotiations highlight Lazio’s strategic challenge of balancing squad reinforcement with strict financial constraints.
