Lazio fans protest Gattuso press conference, club releases provisional preseason squad

Organised Lazio supporters issued a strong statement condemning the club for scheduling the presentation of new head coach Gennaro Gattuso at the same time as the club's General Assembly, calling it a media diversion and demanding that the Formello press room remain empty.

Despite the protest, Gattuso held the press conference in Formello and announced the provisional squad for the upcoming preseason camp. The list includes goalkeepers Mandas, Motta, Renzetti and D’Alessio; defenders such as Floriani, Gigot, Lazzari, Marusic and Nuno Tavares; midfielders Belahyane, Dele‑Bashiru and Taylor; and forwards Artistico, Cancellieri and Zaccagni, among others. The squad will continue individual recovery programs at the S.S. Lazio Training Centre.
