Lazio fan protests draw statements from president Rocca and director Marcolin

Regional President Francesco Rocca said the recent fan protests against club owner Claudio Lotito risk extinguishing the love for S.S. Lazio. He urged institutions to listen to supporters, stressed the importance of dialogue, and criticised the lack of communication between the club and its fans.

Former sporting director Dario Marcolin explained that Lazio needs a reference striker and a defensive leader to improve the squad. He outlined a possible 4‑4‑2 setup under coach Gennaro Gattuso and highlighted that the team's performance will depend on the upcoming transfer market.

Journalist Stefano Lesti condemned the “Stati Generali della Lazialità” as a self‑congratulatory event, accusing it of political instrumentalisation and claiming it serves only media visibility rather than genuine fan interests.
