Lazio health professional orders challenge regional regulations in court

Five professional orders for health technicians, rehabilitation, and prevention in the Lazio region have filed an appeal with the TAR Lazio against regional resolution n. 669. The orders, representing professionals in Rome, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti, and Viterbo, are contesting new regulations governing medical, dental, and other healthcare professional offices that do not require specific authorization.

The appeal specifically challenges restrictions on the sharing of professional spaces and equipment, which currently only allows alternating use of premises by professionals of the same or homogeneous disciplines. Additionally, the petitioners are contesting limitations placed on collaborations between different healthcare professions and regulations regarding the registry of occasional services.
