Lazio launches 520,000 euro fund for prisoner reintegration

The Lazio region has launched the third edition of the “Costruire futuro” public notice, aimed at supporting projects that improve the quality of life and social reintegration for incarcerated individuals. With a total budget of 520,000 euros, the initiative funds interventions in penitentiary institutes, Rems, and penal execution services within the Lazio region.

Supported projects can target both adults and minors, as well as individuals under security measures or in external penal execution. Key areas of focus include psychological and physical well-being, sports, culture, arts, and the support of parental and affective relationships. Non-profit organizations, associations, and social cooperatives based in Lazio are eligible to apply via the regional platform between October 2 and October 29, 2026.
