Lazio near signing of Danish defender Noah Markmann

Italian Serie A club Lazio is in the final stages of securing a transfer for 19‑year‑old Danish centre‑back Noah Markmann from FC Nordsjælland. Negotiations are reportedly focused on a fee of around €7 million, with the club working out bonus structures tied to individual and team performance targets. Markmann, who has made 38 first‑team appearances for the Danish side and is under contract until 2027, would join Lazio as they look to reinforce a defensive line that has recently lost Mario Gila to AC Milan and awaits a possible move for Alessio Romagnoli.

The move follows Lazio’s broader defensive reshuffle, which also saw the free‑transfer signing of Danilho Doekhi and the acquisition of Danish players Gustav Isaksen and Oliver Provstgaard in recent seasons.
