Lazio President Claudio Lotito faces calls to sell club

Daniele Capezzone, director of Il Tempo, published an editorial warning that the upcoming season will be a “calvario” (ordeal) due to a weak squad and a lack of clear project or financial breathing room. Capezzone criticized Lotito for failing to engage with fans and stakeholders, suggesting that a lack of partnership or investment has left the club in a struggling state.

Following these sentiments, Alberto Ciapparoni expressed on social media that the only way to save the club is for Lotito to “ponga fine al calvario e venda la Lazio” (put an end to the ordeal and sell Lazio).
