Lazio secures Josip Sutalo loan and Bamba Dieng free transfer

Lazio is finalizing two key player acquisitions to strengthen their squad. The club has reached an agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Croatian defender Josip Sutalo. The deal is structured as an expensive loan worth 3 million euros, which includes an option to purchase for 7.5 million euros. With potential bonuses, the total value of the transfer could reach between 12 and 15 million euros. Sutalo, who joined Ajax in 2023, is expected to undergo medical examinations in Rome shortly.

Simultaneously, Lazio is securing the signing of Senegalese striker Bamba Dieng on a free transfer following his departure from Lorient. Dieng, who has signed a contract through June 2029, is expected to receive an annual salary of approximately 1.5 million euros. His arrival follows unsuccessful attempts to sign other targets such as Mauro Icardi and Andrea Pinamonti. Dieng arrives in Rome for medical tests, having recently enjoyed a productive season in Ligue 1.
