Lazio Region allocates €75 million for social and economic support

The Lazio Region has announced a €75 million extraordinary intervention package designed to mitigate the impact of inflation, rising energy costs, and increased raw material prices on citizens and local businesses.

Key components of the plan include €20 million dedicated to combating energy poverty. This funding, sourced from the European Social Fund (FSE+ 2021-2027) and regional funds, will provide extraordinary support for domestic electricity costs for vulnerable users, including citizens over 75, individuals with recognized disabilities, and families in economic disadvantage.

The strategic plan also aims to revitalize the agricultural sector, which has been heavily impacted by the rising costs of fuel and fertilizers, and includes experimental measures to support youth mobility.
