Lazio region announces school book vouchers for 2026-2027

Authorities in the Lazio region, including Rome and Rieti, have announced the availability of book vouchers and educational subsidies for the 2026-2027 school year. These grants are intended for students in secondary schools and vocational training programs belonging to families with an ISEE indicator not exceeding €15,493.71.

In Rome, the contribution amounts vary by grade level: €230 for first-year secondary school students and for first and third-year high school students, while other classes receive €175. The funds can be used for printed or digital textbooks, dictionaries, software, and hardware such as notebooks or tablets. To assist families, Rome Capitale will provide the contribution at the start of the school year so that expenses can be covered directly at accredited retailers without upfront costs.

In Rieti, the municipality has released a public notice for the provision of total or partial funding for textbooks and educational tools. Applications for the Rieti region must be submitted by 1:00 PM on September 11, 2026, via email or in person at the municipal URP office.
