Lazio Region approves ownership transfer of Mad landfill

The Lazio Region has officially authorized the transfer of the Integrated Environmental Authorization (AIA) for the Mad landfill in Roccasecca. This administrative step facilitates the transfer of ownership from Mad Srl to Newco Roccasecca Srl, effective this coming Monday.

While local officials in San Giovanni Incarico had raised concerns regarding environmental guarantees and oversight following the sale, the regional government confirmed the transfer was already finalized. The decision was signed by the regional director of the Environment and Waste Cycle sector, Wanda D’Ercole.
