Lazio Region launches LazioPerLaSalute wellness app

The Lazio Region has launched ‘LazioPerLaSalute’, an official mobile application designed to promote primary prevention and healthy lifestyle habits among citizens. Following an experimental phase, the service is now available to those assisted by the local health authorities (ASL) within the region.

Users can access the app via SPID or Electronic Identity Card to complete questionnaires regarding six key wellness dimensions: physical activity, nutrition, hydration, sleep, alcohol consumption, and psychological well-being. The tool allows users to track their habits over time and receive personalized recommendations based on age and lifestyle. These guidelines follow standards set by the World Health Organization and Italian medical-scientific societies.

While the app is intended to help users understand their lifestyles and connect with local health services, it is not a replacement for medical professionals or a tool for treating specific pathologies. Experts emphasize that establishing sustainable routines—such as regular sleep patterns, balanced nutrition, and gradual physical activity—is more effective for long-term health than extreme or rigid lifestyle changes.
