Lazio region leads Italy in renal denervation procedures

The Lazio region has become the leading Italian territory for renal denervation procedures, accounting for 26% of all national activity in 2025, according to data from the Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology (GISE). This represents a 79% increase in procedures within the region compared to 2024, while national growth was approximately 36%.

The Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in Latina has emerged as the top center in Italy for the number of these procedures performed. This growth reflects the increasing adoption of the interventional technique across various cardiology teams and healthcare networks within the region.
