Lazio region reports traffic congestion and rail delays

Traffic and mobility reports for the Lazio region indicate various disruptions and scheduled changes. In the Rome area, significant congestion has been reported on the Grande Raccordo Anulare, particularly near Laurentina and the Roma-Fiumicino branch. Heavy traffic and delays are also affecting the A24 urban section, the Cristoforo Colombo road, and the Pontina state road due to various incidents and congestion.

On the rail network, the conventional Rome-Florence line between Rignano sull'Arno and Pontassieve is experiencing delays, cancellations, or route changes for Intercity and regional trains following a freight train derailment.

In other parts of the region, specific road closures and traffic restrictions are in place for local events, including historical reenactments in Fiumicino and Viterbo, and the 90th anniversary of the Basilica of Santa Maria Regina Pacis in Ostia. Additionally, a heavy vehicle ban is active on highways until late evening on September 27.

Note: A separate report regarding new bus routes for Atv in Verona is not included in this summary.
