Lazio Regional Council honors lifeguard Denis Sguera

The Lazio Regional Council has honored 17-year-old lifeguard Denis Sguera for his bravery and professionalism. During a period of severe weather at the Torvaianica coast last July, Sguera successfully rescued eight people from the sea in a single day.

The recognition ceremony was held at the Sala Bartoloni, where Regional Council President Antonello Aurigemma and Vice President of the V Commission Edy Palazzi presented the award. Officials praised Sguera for his altruism and sense of civic duty, noting that his actions serve as a significant example of responsibility for his peers.
