Lazio Regional Council President emphasizes early intervention and international cooperation

Antonello Aurigemma, President of the Lazio Regional Council, has highlighted two key strategic priorities for the region: neurodevelopmental support and international institutional relations.

During a study day at the Argos Center in Nettuno, Aurigemma advocated for early intervention in neurodevelopmental disorders. He emphasized the necessity of building stable networks between healthcare services, schools, rehabilitation centers, and families. He noted that Legislative Decree 62 of 2024 promotes multidimensional assessments and life projects aimed at social participation, focusing on a child's growth within their complex life contexts.

In a separate context, Aurigemma discussed the Lazio region's role as a reference point for dialogue with foreign institutions. He credited his position within the Committee of the Regions in Brussels for strengthening ties with European entities, as well as delegations from China, Japan, and South America. These international relations aim to support the region's productive fabric by leveraging local professional expertise and creativity.
