Lazio rises to top of Serie A as Real Sociedad wins in Spain

In Italian Serie A, Lazio secured their third consecutive victory by defeating Udinese 2-1. Davide Frattesi scored in the 75th minute to equalize after Jesper Karlstrom opened the scoring for Udinese. Albert Gudmundsson, making his debut for Lazio, scored a header in the final minutes to secure the win. This result places Lazio joint top of the table with nine points, alongside Roma and Inter Milan.

In Spanish La Liga, Real Sociedad achieved a 3-2 away victory against Elche, marking their first away win since February. Despite playing with ten men after Jon Martin received a red card in the 65th minute, Luka Sučić scored a decisive goal in the 90th minute. Earlier in the match, Job Ochieng and Yangel Herrera had put Sociedad ahead before Elche fought back to equalize.

Other notable results included a 1-1 draw between Getafe and Celta Vigo, and a 1-0 win for Cagliari over Lecce, courtesy of a header from Daniel Maldini.
