Lazio signs defender Danilho Doekhi and midfielder Adrian Przyborek
Lazio have completed the free transfer of 28‑year‑old centre‑back Danilho Doekhi. The Dutch‑Surinamese defender, who previously logged 137 appearances for Union Berlin and played for the Netherlands youth teams up to the U‑21 level, arrives at the club standing 1.87 m tall and having scored 21 goals in 314 senior matches. Doekhi said he sees Lazio as a perfect fit and aims to keep a clean sheet while contributing offensively.
The club also secured 19‑year‑old Polish midfielder Adrian Przyborek for €4.5 million from Pogon Szczecin. Coach Gennaro Gattuso described Przyborek as a "mezz'ala" – an outside midfielder in a three‑man midfield – and is evaluating his role within a 4‑2‑3‑1 system. The teenager will compete for spots behind the striker and in central midfield as Lazio reshape their squad for the upcoming Serie A season.
