Lazio supporters rally for protest against club president Lotito

Several fan‑initiated letters have called for a mass demonstration against S.S. Lazio president Claudio Lotito. In a column for Il Tempo, former supporter Luigi Bisignani urged thousands of Lazio fans to travel to Bologna for the club’s opening match on 23 August, describing the gathering as a “genuine, loyal and dignified” mobilisation to make their voice heard.

Journalist Francesca Turco added her own open letter, condemning Lotito’s “lack of empathy” and “myopic management,” and urging him to step aside so the club can rebuild its relationship with its supporters. Both letters highlight frustrations over the club’s transfer policy, stadium plans and perceived detachment of ownership from the fan base.
