Lazio supporters rally in Rome demanding fan ownership and backing club president

On Thursday, 2 July, roughly 25,000‑30,000 Lazio fans marched through Rome, moving from Ponte Milvio to the Flaminio stadium in a large demonstration of support for the club and protest against owner Claudio Lotito.

Former Lazio player Stefan Radu posted on social media an image with a white and sky‑blue heart and an eagle, writing “Laziali uniti non saranno mai sconfitti” (“Lazio fans united will never be defeated”).

Former player‑coach Luigi Bisignani addressed the crowd, invoking the club’s history and calling for a “popular shareholder” model, while bank president Mauro Masi highlighted the economic value of the supporters and noted interest from investment funds and international media such as CNN.
