Lazio targets KRC Genk defender Mujaid Sadick

Lazio is reportedly targeting KRC Genk defender Mujaid Sadick to strengthen their central defense. The 26-year-old Spanish defender, who has Nigerian roots, has become a primary option for the Italian club following unsuccessful attempts to secure other targets such as Raul Dominguez from Dinamo Zagreb and Ibe Hautekiet from Standard Liège.

Sadick, who joined Genk from Deportivo La Coruña in 2021, has a market value estimated around €5 million, though previous reports suggested a release clause of €8 million. His recent absence from Genk's matchday squads has fueled speculation regarding a potential move. While his contract runs until 2028, Genk may be open to negotiations.
