Lazio Women start pre‑season camp in Celano

Lazio Women gathered in Celano, Abruzzo, from 20 July to 30 July 2024 for a pre‑season camp under head coach Gianluca Grassadonia. The team will train at the Fabio Piccone stadium and stay in the town, with the municipality thanked for its support.

Two friendly matches are scheduled: on 24 July against Pineto and on 29 July against Napoli Women. The camp is presented as a turning point for the club, focusing on continuity and internal development rather than major market moves. New signings include goalkeeper Angel Mukasa, a 2002‑born international who previously played for Rosengård and Galatasaray, and other recent arrivals that reinforce a rebuilding strategy announced by sporting director Pinzani.

The squad, composed largely of returning players, aims to improve cohesion and performance ahead of the 2024‑25 Serie A Women’s season, with particular emphasis on a strong midfield and a more incisive attack.
