Lazio's high valuation keeps investors at bay, says Luigi Bisignani

Lazio, but Claudio Lotito’s asking price is "fuori mercato" (far beyond market levels), deterring serious offers. Bisignani warned that the inflated valuation is affecting the club’s prospects and even its political backing, noting that fan pressure is growing.

He also discussed the club’s plans for the Flaminio stadium, describing it as a long‑term dream that faces regulatory hurdles and heavy financial commitments. Bisignani suggested that without European competition to boost revenues, Lazio’s ability to meet the costs of a stadium‑club sale is doubtful, and he urged Lotito to focus on fielding a competitive squad rather than pursuing overly ambitious financial projects.
