Lazismu and NU Care-Lazisnu receive Best Partner awards at Grand BAZNAS Awards 2026

Lazismu and NU Care-Lazisnu were both honored as Best Partner Zakat Institutions (LAZ Mitra Terbaik) at the Grand BAZNAS Awards 2026, held in Jakarta on October 15, 2026.

Lazismu, the zakat institution of Muhammadiyah, received the award in recognition of its social and humanitarian programs and its collaboration with various partners. Ahmad Imam Mujadid Rais, Chairman of the Lazismu Board, stated that the award serves as recognition for their synergy with partners to address issues such as poverty alleviation and humanitarian aid for Palestine. He emphasized that the achievement should motivate the institution to further increase its capacity to benefit the community.

Similarly, NU Care-Lazisnu was recognized for its role in zakat management and community welfare programs. Habib Ali Hasan Al Bahar, Chairman of Lazisnu PBNU, attributed the award to the collective hard work of the management and staff. He expressed hope that this national recognition would serve as momentum to expand the institution's impact and reach toward international recognition.
