Lazos de Amor Day Home celebrates 31 years in Tolhuin

The Lazos de Amor Day Home in Tolhuin celebrated its 31st anniversary with a community event involving elderly participants and staff. Organized by the Undersecretariat of Older Persons for the North and Central Zones, the celebration included artistic performances, food, and a formal recognition of workers for their dedication to elderly care.

Minister of Citizen Wellbeing and Justice Lucía Rossi attended the event, emphasizing the importance of such spaces. Rossi stated that the center serves as a place for “encounter, containment, participation, and accompaniment,” noting the provincial government's commitment to strengthening these programs to promote autonomy and quality of life for the elderly.
