Lübeck police apprehend suspects after hit-and-run accident

Police in Lübeck-Krummesse responded to an unusual hit-and-run incident on Monday evening around 5:45 PM. An Opel veered off the road and collided head-on with a street sign before rolling onto an adjacent forest path.

Following the collision, the driver fled the scene on foot. However, the passenger, who appeared to be intoxicated, took control of the damaged vehicle and continued driving in a zigzag pattern. Police eventually located the abandoned car in a wooded area and apprehended three suspects.
