Lębork opens its first municipal nursery

Lębork has officially opened its first municipal nursery, Publiczny Żłobek Nr 1, located on Emilii Plater Street. The facility is designed to accommodate 118 children up to three years of age, including those with disabilities or special needs.

Mayor Jarosław Litwin described the opening as a key component of the city’s pro-family policy, aimed at supporting parents' return to professional activity and increasing the city's attractiveness for families. Following an initial recruitment phase, 87 children are currently enrolled, with most being residents of Lębork and others from the Nowa Wieś Lęborska commune. The nursery operates Monday through Friday, from 6:00 to 17:00.
