Lộc Hà resort project remains undeveloped after 9 years

The Lộc Hà hotel and resort villa project, managed by Lộc Hà International Joint Stock Company, remains an undeveloped wasteland despite being approved in 2017. The project, located in Lộc Hà, Hà Tĩnh, covers nearly 8.8 hectares with a total investment of 241 billion VND. It was intended to include 3-star hotels, 83 villas, restaurants, and entertainment facilities.

Although the project was granted a 16-month extension by the Hà Tĩnh Department of Planning and Investment in late 2024, the site remains overgrown with grass. Following storms in late 2025, the perimeter fencing was destroyed and left uncleaned, contributing to the site's unsightly appearance. Local residents have expressed concerns regarding the waste of land resources, noting that land previously used for high-yield crops was seized for the project but has since sat idle for years.
