LCDF Hanoi investigated for unauthorized foreign training partnerships
Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training has reported multiple signs of violations regarding foreign training partnerships at the London College of Design and Fashion - Hanoi (LCDF). Following a specialized inspection conducted over one month, the Ministry concluded that the institution failed to provide documentation proving it had registered its foreign training activities or obtained the necessary certificates required by Vietnamese law.
The investigation revealed that LCDF, as a vocational education institution, is not legally permitted to conduct foreign training partnerships at the university level. Despite this, the school was found to be actively promoting, recruiting, and organizing training programs for both college and university-level international degrees. Furthermore, the Ministry noted that the school could not identify the legal entities involved in these partnerships, potentially compromising the rights and interests of its students. The Ministry has referred the findings to competent authorities for further verification and handling.
