Lüdenscheid: Missing woman found after intensive search

A 55-year-old woman from Nachrodt was found safe in Lüdenscheid following an intensive search operation by police and fire departments. The woman, who had left a care facility in Plettenberg on Sunday afternoon, appeared disoriented and was unable to explain how she arrived in Lüdenscheid.

The search involved significant resources, including tracking dogs, drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras, a police helicopter, and divers searching the Lenne river. A passerby eventually discovered the woman on a sidewalk on Gartenstraße around 5:00 AM. She was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
