Läderach opens new Swiss chocolate store in CascaiShopping

Swiss chocolate brand Läderach has opened a new store in CascaiShopping, Portugal. Located on the ground floor, the shop features the brand’s signature FrischSchoggi experience, where large chocolate slabs are cut to order.

Customers can customize their selections using milk, dark, or white chocolate, adding various ingredients such as pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds, cashews, red fruits, candied orange, or biscuit pieces. The store also offers other specialties, including artisanal truffles, pralines, and mini mousses, and represents the brand’s largest storefront in Portugal.

Founded in 1962, the family-owned company produces its chocolate exclusively in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland, following a ‘From Bean to Bar to You’ philosophy. This opening follows the brand’s recent expansion into NorteShopping, continuing its growth within the Portuguese market.
