LDS Church releases new 'Friend to Friend' children broadcasts for 2024 and 2026

In March 2024 the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints aired a "Friend to Friend" episode aimed at Primary children. President Dallin H. Oaks and his wife Kristen spoke with their great‑grandchildren, teaching that “Disciples of Jesus Christ listen to Jesus Christ.” The broadcast recounted a story of Oaks’ grandmother hearing a warning from the Holy Ghost that saved children from a flash flood, illustrating how the Spirit can guide and protect.

A new "Friend to Friend" video titled “The Family Is of God” is scheduled for release on September 13, 2026. The program features Elder Gérald Caussé, his wife Valérie, and the newly appointed Primary General Presidency led by President Rosemary K. Chibota. It includes a simple crêpe‑making recipe and a paper‑house craft, and will be available in multiple languages on the Church’s YouTube channels and Gospel Library.
