Le Havre AC faces leadership exodus amid Ligue 1 crisis
Le Havre AC is experiencing significant organizational upheaval following a 1:5 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain. The club, which sits at the bottom of Ligue 1 with only two points from nine matches, has seen several key figures depart.
President Jean-Michel Roussier has resigned from his position, with his departure to be formally processed by the board. Following this, Yacine Alaoui will assume the role of Director General. Additionally, head coach Didier Digard has been suspended, and Jaïr Karam has stepped in to lead the team. Reports also indicate that sporting director Demba Ba and goalkeeper coach Nicolas Douchez are leaving the club.
Supporters have expressed intense frustration with the ownership group, Blue Crow Sports Group, accusing them of failing to understand the club’s history and identity. The club’s next match is scheduled against Lorient on November 8.
