Le Mans real estate project to replace former supermarket

The Cogedim group, a brand of Altarea, has announced a new residential development project in Le Mans, France. The project, named ‘Les terrasses de Vaugauthier’, will be constructed on the site of the former Kosmo supermarket and its adjacent car wash on Avenue Bollée.

The development will consist of 97 apartments, ranging from two to three rooms. The housing mix includes 27 units for private ownership and 70 social housing units. Each apartment will feature a balcony or terrace overlooking a 1,200-square-meter garden designed to provide a cooling effect for the area.

Construction is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2028.
