Le Pappardelle set new record on Reazione a Catena

The Florentine trio known as ‘Le Pappardelle’—comprising Francesca, Carolina, and Maria Giulia—continues to set historic records on the Rai 1 game show ‘Reazione a Catena’. As of mid-September 2026, the group has achieved 43 consecutive appearances, breaking the previous record of 36 set by ‘Tre di Denari’ in 2017.

Their recent victories have seen them accumulate a total prize pool of approximately 251,806 euros. This performance places them second in the show's all-time winnings list, trailing only ‘Le Volta pagina’, who won 308,507 euros in 2024. The trio has successfully guessed the final word in 24 of their appearances.

Their dominance has sparked debate among viewers on social media. While many praise their skill and preparation, some spectators have expressed fatigue with their long winning streak, with some even suggesting the show favors them due to high viewership ratings. Despite these discussions and a recent close match against the ‘Forza Maggiore’ team, the group remains undefeated.
