Le Savoldilia releases book to combat teacher burnout
A new book titled ‘Guia de Coaching Educacional’ by researcher and author Le Savoldilia offers strategies to combat teacher burnout in Brazil. The initiative follows Ipec research indicating that 71% of Brazilian teachers experience stress due to heavy workloads, which include tasks such as grading at home, report writing, and managing student conflicts.
Le Savoldilia, a public school teacher in São Paulo with academic backgrounds from USP/ESALQ and UISEP Mexico, utilizes coaching tools to help educators identify exhaustion, organize priorities, and improve communication. The work aims to foster collaborative school environments and promote emotional well-being through practical methods like the ‘Wheel of Life’ to assess satisfaction in career, health, and personal life.
