Le Soleil and Djinaky commune sign partnership agreement
The Senegalese national daily newspaper, Le Soleil, has signed a partnership agreement with the commune of Djinaky, located in the Bignona department. The collaboration aims to promote territorial development by highlighting the economic, cultural, and touristic potential of the region.
This agreement marks the first municipal collaboration for the magazine ‘Soleil du Sud’, which is specifically edited to cover the Casamance Pole, including Ziguinchor, Sédhiou, and Kolda. Lamine Niang, Director General of Le Soleil, stated that the partnership is intended to support Djinaky in communicating projects that have a real impact on its population.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy to use media to increase the visibility of local government activities and territorial needs, fostering better communication between local institutions and a wider public.
