Lea Michele celebrates 40th birthday

Actress and singer Lea Michele is celebrating her 40th birthday. Best known for her role as Rachel Berry on the musical series ‘Glee’ (2009–2015), Michele has maintained a career spanning Broadway, television, and music.

Her professional highlights include originating the role of Wendla Bergmann in the musical ‘Spring Awakening’ and appearing in ‘Scream Queens’. In 2022, she returned to Broadway in ‘Funny Girl’, performing the role of Fanny Brice. She is also a New York Times bestselling author.

In her personal life, Michele married businessman Zandy Reich in 2019, with whom she has two children, Ever Leo and Emery Sol. She was previously in a relationship with ‘Glee’ co-star Cory Monteith until his death in 2013.
